cake lovin' at the wedding. July, 2005

Anyway, my friends from KAI MEDIA are putting together a 5 minute presentation video to show at the upcoming Wedding Videographer expo at The Wedding Cafe. They asked me if me and Sam would be willing to be there actor/ models for the shoot. Of course we said yes!! How often is it that you get a wedding video made by some amazing professionals. Since we already had our wedding almost 5 years ago, we had to redo the formals, we even got to borrow 2 beautiful gowns from The Bridal Boutique (on Cooke street.) We had an amazing 12 hour long day of shooting, 3 locations, underwater photography, and a lot of kissing (my favorite part.)
We had some other industry leaders helping out with the shoot too... Marina Miller, from REDHEARTPHOTO, was shooting some behind the scenes photos as well as getting some life changing pictures of me and Sam. Sam had a professional make-up artist, Charisse Paulino, doing her make-up, making her look even hotter. My homeboy/ boss, Dave Miyamoto, also joined in on the last location and popped off some underwater shots. It was such a cool day, thanks for everything. I can't wait to see the video and photos from the shoot, but for now, here's some behind the scenes stuff....

These are the 2 dresses loaned out by the Boutique, we got to "trash" the dresses :)
Sam getting maked.

we moved out to Waikiki to finish the "pre-bridal" shots (a.k.a. the getting ready shots.)

Creee came to dance too. My constant male companion
Chris is the one who actually brought out all the new technology high res gear.

After we finished shooting in Waikiki, we took our lunch break at Boston's Pizza in Pearl city. yum.
Marina's son, Riley Rex, already trying to steal my wife away from me.

retouch in Boston's.
The Second location. Hickam, for the sunset. niiiiice.

Final location, rooftop pool, THANKS TO ANGEL!!!! We fought the cold rain, the chilling wind, and went balls out for the final shots. sweeeet cold nipples.
