"Stump" Trivia @ Manifest. Every Tuesday. FUN

I should be blogging about 10 other things, but I had so much fun tonight, I'd figure i'd fit this post in while it was still fresh in my mind.
Anyway, every Tuesday 'The Manifest' hosts a killer trivia game. If you haven't been to one yet, you should definitely go, if you have been to one, then you need to keep coming back because they are getting better and better! The game starts at 6:30pm and lasts about two hours. Get your team together (about 6 people is perfect) then get down there and have some fun. Oh, don't forget to pick out a sweet team name, and sorry, "Bitchin' Corndog" is already taken by yours truly.

It's pretty simple and easy to have fun, but hard to win. The game is played in 4 quarters with some half time questions. If you think you're good at general trivia, then this game will definitely test your knowledge (it ain't easy!) Come down and get your game sheet...
Naomi, the hostess with the mostess, and Justin the man behind the bar
Brandon. He only good cause he got smart friends..
My favorite part about Tuesdays (besides the Trivia), are the HOT DOGS!!! Fully deluxe ready to custom order hot dogs... sooooo good.

Part of the Bitchin' Corndog team... (the part that was too deep in Guinness beer to come up with correct answers)
Trivia people!!!

we got 5th place, out of 12 teams tonight. A great improvement over last week's last place. Be sure though, we will be back every tuesday to try and take over. .

see you

Manoa Falls Hike. Bamboo + Grandma

We went on a hike to Manoa Falls last month. We brought Sam's grandma with us, she loves bamboo, so this was a pretty good hike choice. Every time we do this hike, I'm always more impressed with the scenery up to the falls, rather than the actual waterfall at the end of the hike.
Again, I urge you, if you are into hiking, check out Kaleo's Blog- ISLAND TRAILS

Well here are the pictures from our trip up to Manoa Falls.

now you go

Kaena Point. Long walk (hike) with the fam.

Like a month ago.
Yeah, this is from about a month ago, but i'm finally posting it now (so what). I wouldn't say this is a true 'hiking' blog post... if you wanna see a real deal hiking blog, please check out my friend's blog here- KALEO LANCASTER ISLAND TRAILS
Anyway, I guess you could say we went on a 'hike' (long walk) up at Kaena point on the north shore. We brought the kids, stomped in some mud, jumped in the ocean, and got tired.
Small photo tip: If your taking pictures in the middle of the day and you're too lazy to check your exposure meter, or if your light meter is broken for that matter, or you're having a hard time checking your exposure on the LCD in the bright sun... you can count on the "Sunny 16" rule. Which is, set your ISO to 100; Shutter at /125; and aperture at f16. I pretty much shot every picture in this post with these settings. It works pretty well if you are in bright sunlight. okay.
Bronson is following the "Sunny SPF" rule here. no burn yo' face.
