Twinkie day

Sunday morning I went over to travis's house. I havent hung out with travis in a long time except for the occasional skate session in mililani. Travis was also known as "Twinkie" when we used to be the jerky boys. ha. anyway, this morning we had purpose... garage sales!!

I dont think this is a good breakfeast, but i liked it.

Here's travis's house in Mauka, it was my first time being there.. travis has a nice house.
STREET FIGHTER II arcade in the garage?!!! insane!! (i only beat travis a few times, he cheats)

a nice '72 Toyota in the garage too... definetely a sunday car.

who let the dogs out?...

My favorite part about the interior.. he's got one those murals..

nice garage artwork...

travis has a great family!! next time i'll bring Bella.

so anyway... on a mission to find some inexpensive junk from other people!

and by the way, why do those drive thrus fool you with that fake voice in the beginning?? At first its a romantic... "ba da pa ba da, welcome to Mcdonalds would you like to try and iced coffee?" then, you order your breakfeast and then some scruffy man voice comes on and says... "huh, what was that?" tricky drive thru
We only found 2 garage sales on a sunday... whack.

They were obviously too lazy to throw away there trash so they just wrote "free" on the garbage can.
Samoans in full effect..

can you even use this 'analog' television anymore?? they need to lose the 0 in that price.

if it was a Mach 7-SS, i would of made an offer

Soooo no good treasures at the garage sales, lets check the aloha stadium swap meet.
Travis didnt waste anytime in finding this homemade $3 'pooper scooper'

I actually had a 5 minute conversation about cameras with the guy who was selling these beautiful babies. good to talk classics
$8 roller skates... i REALLY wished my feet were a little smaller so I could fit these.

This guy had the classic wind up toys!!

I regret not buying these adidas's now... $15, it was a good deal.. i just have too many shoes. but man, i needed these!!

The fanciest 'fag bags' i've ever seen.. genuine leathers ooooh.
Obama 'bobble-heads'
Murder weapons gallore...
Oh snap!! did I just find original flojos ?!!

i seriously think these were hand painted "goat skin" carpets.
the funniest thing i saw all day... it was a 10' X 10' tarp tent with one ATM inside, on the outside of the tent there was a big sign stating "ATM INSIDE".. the sign of course was blocking the view of the ATM inside... ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!
so long day... i did get Sam a nice left handed 'driver' so we can go to the driving range, and yes i bought me some flojos!! and the only way to wear them, is to roll up your jeans 'high-water' style. These are going out in public everyday!
