I received an award a while ago, given to me by the Hawaii Chapter of The Society of Professional Journalists.
The award was for a photo I took when I was shooting an assignment for Civil Beat.
I received the fancy wood plaque for 'Excellence in Journalism'. That's pretty awesome.
